What brought you to Mohawk College?

When I was looking for colleges, I came across Mohawk because of its diverse program and teaching methods. I was really impressed by the accommodation that Mohawk provides to every student to facilitate learning either its travelling, staying or delivery of information.

Tell us about your favourite Mohawk experience?

I remember celebrating our Indian festival Diwali at Fennel Campus where there was rangoli competition and many other events that promoted the belonging of international Indian students to the college. It's not only for Indians but mohawk also respects and recognizes cultural diversity.

What impact has Mohawk had on your life?

I feel that if I am working with a reputable and amazing firm of childcare today then its only because of the knowledge from Mohawk teachers. I am confident about my actions because I know that I can completely trust my knowledge. Also, the respect of cultural diversity at mohawk made me confident to feel that I am not odd. I have my own culture and I belong here.

What are you up to now?

I am working as a preschool teacher at a Montessori school with all the knowledge I got from my teachers.
