JOSEPH ROGER DAVIES

Electronics Technology - 1968

What brought you to Mohawk College?

When I started college, it was known as The Hamilton Institute of Technology (HIT). By the time I graduated, the name had changed to Mohawk College of Applied Engineering and Technology. The courses offered and the location brought me here.

Tell us about your favourite Mohawk experience?

The formality and professionalism of the whole experience. Ties, white shirts and business jackets. Great instructors.

What impact has Mohawk had on your life?

Set my expectations of the real world that I would soon enter. Very positive impact.

What are you up to now?

After holding several technical positions in Canada and the United States, I formed a consulting company which still operates after 35 years. I am now retired from this company and now teach continuing education to adults in the maintenance arena.
