What brought you to Mohawk College?

I attended Mohawk College for Law and Security due to its excellent reputation, particularly in the field I wanted to join. Growing up in Burlington, I valued the proximity and community connection, making Mohawk a natural choice for my educational journey in law enforcement.

Tell us about your favourite Mohawk experience?

My favorite experience from attending Mohawk College was undoubtedly the lasting friendships forged over the two years. Staying in contact with these remarkable individuals and witnessing the unfolding of each of their unique journeys has been truly amazing. The bonds created at Mohawk extend beyond the classroom, enriching my life with a network of friends and colleagues who continue to inspire and share in the joys of our diverse paths.

What impact has Mohawk had on your life?

Mohawk College has profoundly shaped my life, instilling in me the foundational principles of law enforcement that have become the bedrock of my career. Through my 2 years at Mohawk, I not only gained knowledge but also developed the skills to thrive in the field. Mohawk not only taught me about law but also nurtured qualities that transformed me into the leader I am today. This educational journey at Mohawk not only impacted my professional life but also equipped me with insights into life in general. Thanks to Mohawk, I am not just succeeding in my career but am excelling and advocating for the municipal law enforcement field.

What are you up to now?

I am currently the Manager of Municipal By-law Compliance with the City of Cambridge responsible for parking and non-parking by-laws and corporate security. I am thoroughly enjoying my career in Municipal Law Enforcement and I am in my 15th year. I am also the Auxiliary Staff Sergeant and Unit Commander for the Ontario Provincial Police Detachment and a Director with the Municipal Law Enforcement Officers Association of Ontario.
