What brought you to Mohawk College?

A few friends from back home. When I was planning to come to Canada, some friends are already studying in Canada from my home country India. We were in same class in India. Moreover, I want to pursue my career in Automotive Field and become a License Automotive Technician. So, I found two years program in Fennell Campus and I apply to get an admission in Motive Power Technician Program.

Tell us about your favourite Mohawk experience?

I was in Mohawk between September 2021 to April 2023. I was studying in my program and still active with all other kind of activities in campus. I also help newcomers by answering their questions in chat as an International Peer Ambassador. Furthermore, I used to be work with Mohawk Security and Mohawk Parking Service. That was my wonderful experience to learn and earn together at campus.

What impact has Mohawk had on your life?

I learn a lot of things after getting admission in Mohawk College. Such as, how to manage my schedule with two jobs and study, how to complete assignment without getting any demerits, and how to collaborate with other people at work place and classroom.

What are you up to now?

After completing my graduation, I started working as an Automotive Apprentice Technician in one of the shops in Hamilton Downtown, CRS Automotive. I am working there and repair cars and learning from License Mechanic to get my license and Complete my apprenticeship. It is such a hard journey to become License Mechanic from Apprentice.
