What brought you to Mohawk College?

When I was a student of Saint Xavier, I was told by my teachers that there will be a place where future careers can be possible for us. So, after some learning experiences and a lot of dedication at my school we decided I was ready for a new chapter. Then, after graduating from Xavier my mom, my brother and my teacher Mrs. Tapper completed all the requirements.

Tell us about your favourite Mohawk experience?

Walking around campus just to sightsee and relax and also talking to other students from different classes. Some subjects such as Psychology and History taught me that hard work and dedication lead you to success.

What impact has Mohawk had on your life?

The impact that Mohawk had on my life was making me realized I was capable to be a leader, telling people what to do and how to get work done properly. I always received good feedbacks from my teachers about my hard work and understanding. I was very proud of myself for all the compliments I got during my time at Mohawk. In conclusion, my experience at Mohawk College expanded my mind about the world and increased my confidence.

What are you up to now?

Currently, I am working in some training with DSO about housing, technology and budgeting. I am planning to get into a volunteer experience in a retirement home to make sure that it is what I want to do in the future. I will complete some extra training in First Aid, CPR, etc. to complete the profile. I think it will make my resume more appealing to this field.
