What brought you to Mohawk College?
Hamilton is my home city and I wanted to be close to home. I love the school, and the programs it offered. Not just the programs but I knew the school had a lot of support in getting students ready for success in the real world. Assistance with resumes, jobs, guidance on resumes, always steps ahead.
Tell us about your favourite Mohawk experience?
Being a part of the MSA board of directors was the best part about my Mohawk experience. My class was good as well as everyone interacted together and got along. I loved the school environment Mohawk has as well, great safe and clean school.
What impact has Mohawk had on your life?
The MSA has had a big impact on my life. Given me confidence and leadership skills. Feeling proud to be a Mohawk Alumni. Also, the people I’ve met along the way during my Mohawk journey.
What are you up to now?
After working in financial services for close to 5 years, I’m back at Mohawk doing an apprenticeship for carpentry! I also run a Queer Hockey organization in Hamilton bringing the community together on the ice.
